Stack Rocket is a single-player arcade stacking game in which moving rocket sections must be dropped onto a growing structure. Center each section over the blue guide, protect the tower’s balance, and increase your altitude without causing a crash.

Reaching 120 altitude marks the Space milestone, but it does not end the run. The rocket continues upward until a section misses its support or the Balance meter reaches 0%.

How to Play Stack Rocket

Select Play and watch the suspended rocket section travel from side to side. Drop it when its center marker is aligned with the marker on the top section of the stack.

A normal stable placement adds 10 altitude, while a Perfect placement adds 12. Golden ring sections add 20 altitude when successfully placed. Off-center sections may remain on the tower, but they increase balance pressure and make later placements less forgiving.

A complete miss causes an immediate crash. The run also ends when accumulated instability reduces Balance to 0%.

Altitude, Balance, and Combos

Perfect drops reduce accumulated instability and pull the stack slightly closer to the center. This makes accurate placements valuable even when the Balance meter is already high.

The Combo display records consecutive Perfect drops:

  • Two Perfect drops: x1.25
  • Four Perfect drops: x1.5
  • Six Perfect drops: x2

In the current version, this number represents the precision streak but does not multiply altitude points. A normal Perfect still adds 12 altitude at x2. A non-perfect placement resets the streak.

Levels, Golden Rings, and Unlocks

Level 1 contains the first four pieces. Level 2 runs from pieces 5 through 9, and Level 3 begins with piece 10. Sections become faster and narrower as the tower rises, while wind and later movement jitter make alignment harder.

Golden ring sections appear at pieces 5, 10, 16, and 24, followed by another ring every eight pieces. Reaching 16 placed pieces prepares the Satellite Skin for the next run. Reaching 24 pieces unlocks the Retro Skin.

Tips for Stack Rocket

  • Watch the center markers. The cyan stripe provides a more reliable target than judging the outer edges of sections with different widths.
  • Let the section make another pass. There is no countdown forcing an immediate drop, so wait for a cleaner alignment instead of accepting unnecessary balance loss.
  • Use Perfect drops to repair the structure. They recover balance and gently recenter the stack, making the next section easier to support.
  • Expect a change after the first golden ring. Level 2 introduces faster movement and wind, so release slightly earlier when a section is approaching the center quickly.
  • Do not relax at the Space line. Space is a milestone rather than a finish. The tower continues into higher altitude markers until it crashes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does reaching space complete Stack Rocket?

No. Crossing 120 altitude activates the Space milestone, but the current run continues. Additional altitude markers appear as the rocket climbs.

What causes the rocket to crash?

A section can miss the supporting platform completely, causing an immediate crash. Accepted off-center sections can also shift the tower’s weight until Balance reaches 0%.

Does the Combo number multiply the score?

No. In the current version, the Combo display tracks consecutive Perfect placements. Normal Perfect drops continue to award 12 altitude even when the display reaches x2.

Can Stack Rocket be played on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The official version supports mobile and tablet browsers in portrait orientation. Tap inside the playfield to drop the moving section.
